Laundry Room Remodeling in Nashville, TN

The most-used utility room in the house.

Laundry rooms are usually designed as leftover space, which is why most of them have nowhere to fold and nowhere to hang.

Laundry Room Remodeling project by Black Oak Property Services in Nashville

We rebuild them around the actual workflow — counter over the machines, hanging rod, sink, and storage — plus the pan and drain that keep a leak from becoming a ceiling repair downstairs.

What's included

  • Counters over front-load machines
  • Utility sink installation
  • Cabinet storage and hanging rods
  • Drain pans and leak protection
  • Ventilation and dryer duct correction
  • Relocating laundry to another floor

Laundry Room Remodeling questions we get asked

Can laundry be moved upstairs?

Usually. It needs supply, drain, venting, and a pan with a drain line. Upstairs laundry is a major convenience upgrade when the plumbing route works.

Do I need a drain pan?

On any floor above a finished space, yes — and plumb it to a drain. Pans without drains only buy you a few minutes.

What about dryer venting?

Short, rigid, and sloped to the exterior. Long flexible runs are a fire risk and the most common defect we find.
