How long does a bathroom remodel take?
Two to four weeks for most bathrooms. Tile and waterproofing require cure time between steps that can't be rushed without compromising the job.
Should I convert my tub to a walk-in shower?
If it's your primary bath and you have another tub in the house, almost always yes — it's the single most requested change we do. Keep at least one tub in the home for resale.
What causes shower tile to fail?
Almost always missing or improperly lapped waterproofing behind the tile, or a pan that doesn't slope to the drain. Tile itself isn't waterproof — the system behind it is.
Can you work in a bathroom with no window?
Yes. Interior baths need a properly sized exhaust fan ducted to the exterior, not into the attic — that's a common defect we correct.
