Yes. Exterior changes in Nashville's overlay districts require Historic Zoning review, and we coordinate that process as part of the project.
Should I replace original windows?
Often no. Restored original wood windows with storm windows perform respectably and keep the character. We'll be honest about when a window is truly beyond saving.
Is plaster worth repairing over drywall?
If it's largely sound, yes — plaster is harder, quieter, and correct for the house. If it's failing off the lath across a whole room, drywall may be the practical call.
