Deck Repair in Nashville, TN
Most deck failures happen at the ledger.
Decks rarely fail in the middle. They fail where the deck attaches to the house, at post bases in contact with soil, and at railings that were never fastened to structure.

We inspect those connections first, then handle the visible repairs — boards, rails, stairs — with the structure actually made safe underneath.

Deck Repair questions we get asked
How do I know if my deck is unsafe?
Bounce underfoot, wobbling rails, soft wood at the posts, and rusted or missing fasteners at the house connection. That last one is the dangerous one.
Repair or replace?
If the framing is sound, replacing decking and rails is far cheaper. If the ledger, joists, or posts are compromised, replacement is usually the better value.
Can you repair and then stain it?
Yes — new boards need to weather a bit first, and we'll tell you the right window.
