Pergola Construction in Nashville, TN
Shade and structure without a full roof.
A pergola defines an outdoor space and cuts direct sun without closing it in — and unlike a roofed structure, it usually costs a fraction as much.

We build to scale. Undersized posts and thin rafters are what make a pergola look like a kit; proper proportions make it look built.

Pergola Construction questions we get asked
How much shade does a pergola actually give?
It depends on rafter spacing and orientation. We can design the slat spacing to block sun during the hours you actually use the space.
Cedar or composite?
Cedar looks warmer and costs less; composite and aluminum need no maintenance. Both work — it's a maintenance preference.
Do pergolas need permits?
Freestanding ones often don't, attached ones usually do. We confirm before starting.
