Tile Installation in Nashville, TN
Layout first, then tile.
Good tile work is decided before the first piece is set. Where the layout starts determines whether you end up with a sliver cut in the most visible corner or a balanced field.

We dry-lay the layout, flatten the substrate, and use the right setting material for the location — then keep grout joints consistent across the whole run.

Tile Installation questions we get asked
What causes cracked tile or grout?
Movement. Either the substrate flexes, or there's no expansion joint where the field meets a wall. Both are preventable in the prep stage.
Is large-format tile harder to install?
Yes — it needs a much flatter substrate and back-buttering to avoid lippage. We level the floor first rather than trying to fix it with mortar.
Epoxy or cement grout?
Epoxy resists staining and is worth it in showers and kitchen backsplashes. Cement grout is fine elsewhere and easier to repair.
